Anti-wrinkle Treatment
What is it?
Anti-wrinkle injections are a quick, low-pain and minimally invasive way to reduce wrinkles and the effects of ageing on your skin. Anti-wrinkle injections are very safe and only use a small amount of product. They have been used for more than 20 years without any general health implications.
How does it work?
Anti wrinkle treatment is a muscle relaxant that temporarily reduces muscle activity. These muscles form frown lines, crows feet and other wrinkles on your face.
Treatment areas:
-
Preventative reduction of excessive expression lines that can lead to permanent wrinkles
-
Reduction of vertical frown lines between eyebrows
-
Reduction in horizontal worry lines on forehead
-
Reduction in crow’s feet at the sides of the eyes
-
Reduction in bunny lines on the nose
-
Reduction in chin dimpling
-
Eyebrow reshaping
-
Lift to upper face
-
Lift to lower face and neck
-
Lift to the corners of the mouth
What does treatment involve?
Treatment with anti-wrinkle injections is done using several small injections with fine needles into the skin. Target muscles are injected and the number of injections depends on the area of treatment however generally ranges from 5 – 10 injections. No local anaesthetic is required as the injection sting is not intense and only transient. However, upon request, anaesthetic cream can be used to reduce any injection-related discomfort.
